Matt Nicoll-Jones has a long and highly successful career in motorsport having started karting at 5 years old and racing competitively from 8 years old.

Matt is both a race driver and owner of Academy Motorsport.

Matt hasn't let the pressures of the business get in the way of his own on track ambitions and love of the competition.

American driver and international race champion Erik Evans set the track record at Atlanta Motorsports Park in his very first competitive karting race — and hasn't looked back since.

Accomplished across karting, Formula 4, and USF2000, Evans joined Academy Motorsport in 2021. In 2023 he took victories at both Brands Hatch and Donington Park to become a British GT4 champion.

Now a key part of the Ford Racing Development Driver programme, Evans returns with Academy in 2026 for a full GT4 European Series campaign.

Belgian driver Nathan Vanspringel made his racing debut in the Ford Fiesta Sprint Cup in 2019, winning the Rookie of the Year title at just 17 years old.

After building his experience across Belgian and French GT4 championships, Nathan joined the Ford Performance Junior programme and stepped up to a full GT4 European Series campaign in 2025 with the Ford Mustang GT4.

The connection to Ford runs deep — his family runs Vanspringel Automobiles, a Ford dealership based near Brussels. Now racing with Academy Motorsport alongside Erik Evans in 2026, Nathan brings GT4 European Series experience and the drive of a young talent with plenty left to prove.

Having initially raced karts and worked as a mechanic for 12 years, in 2019 Marco won his first season in the Nissan Micra Cup.

In 2021 he went on to win the Sports Car Championship of Canada driving a Mustang GT4.

Marco has raced with us before in 2022 for the British GT Championship.
