Academy Motorsport Returns to Action at Monza for GT4 European Series Round 2

Academy Motorsport heads to Italy for Round 2 of the 2026 GT4 European Series, with the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza hosting the second instalment of the campaign from 29–31 May.

The Ford Mustang GT4 will return to action at one of motorsport’s most iconic venues, with Erik Evans and Nathan Vanspringel confirmed in Car 61 as the team continues its challenge in the Ford Racing Development Driver programme.

Monza is a circuit that demands both raw pace and mechanical precision. Stretching 5.793 kilometres across ten turns, it is a track defined by its long straights and high-speed character — a genuine test of the Mustang’s straight-line performance and setup balance.

The weekend gets underway on Friday 29 May with two free practice sessions, giving the team time to dial in ahead of a double qualifying and race day on Saturday. Race 2 follows on Sunday afternoon. A full breakdown of session times is available in the official timetable.
