Academy Motorsport Heads to Zandvoort for Round 5 of the GT4 European Series
Academy Motorsport returns to action at Circuit Zandvoort for Round 5 of the 2026 GT4 European Series, with Erik Evans and Nathan Vanspringel taking the Ford Mustang GT4 to the Dutch coastal circuit from 18–20 September.
Zandvoort is one of the most distinctive tracks on the calendar. The 4.259-kilometre circuit is narrow, fast, and almost entirely devoid of run-off, with the famous banked Hugenholtz corner and Arie Luyendijk curves demanding precision and commitment in equal measure. Banking angles reach 18 degrees in places, which affects car behaviour in a way that few other circuits replicate.
Free practice and pre-qualifying run on Friday afternoon. Qualifying takes place on Saturday morning, with Race 1 following later that evening. Race 2 closes the weekend on Sunday morning.
